2003: Defended Division I state titles for long jump, 20-5 ¾; 100 meters, 11.72; 200 meters, 24.02. Also teamed with 4×100-meter relay that included Maria Whitely, Christina Madison and Heather Davis, which won in a meet-record 47.12. Led the Elyria High girls to Lorain County’s first-ever girls state track team championship by outdistancing Beaumont, 41-34.
Tianna amassed 9 career state championships, including seven individual titles. She is only the third athlete in Ohio history to win four events at the state meet two years in a row.
2003: Defended Amherst Regional titles for long jump (17-8.25) and 200 meters (26.34), plus as a member of the 4×100-meter relay with Whitely, Christina Madison and Davis (49.44). She also finished second for the 100 behind Toledo Central Catholic’s Andrea Bryson, 12.35-12.57. Helped the Elyria girls to finish second behind Beaumont, 80-68. Earlier, Madison finished her high school career with four more district wins to give her 16 for her career (11 individual, 5 relay). She defended her Amherst District titles for long jump (19-5.5, meet record), 100 (12.01), 200 (24.90), plus as a member of the 4×100 with Whitely, Christina Madison and Davis (48.60). Their efforts helped Elyria to win its fourth straight district title by outdistancing Strongsville, 109-96.5.
2002: Captured Division I state titles for long jump (19-0), 100 meters (12.03) and 200 meters (24.48). She also teamed with Maria Whitely, Marita Below and Heather Davis to win the 4×100-meter relay (47.60). Their efforts helped the Elyria High girls to a second place team finish behind Cleveland Heights Beaumont, 54-45.
2002: Swept titles for long jump (18-7.5), 100 (11.91) and 200 (24.69) at the Amherst Regional. She also teamed with Whitely, Below and Davis to win the 4×100 (48.35). Their efforts helped the Elyria girls to a second place finish behind Beaumont, 82-61. Earlier, Madison won long jump (19-1.25, meet record), 100 (12.08) and 200 (24.51) to lead the Elyria girls to a district championship at Amherst as it slipped past Strongsville, 126-112. Madison also teamed with Whitely, Below and Davis to win the 4×100 in a meet-record 48.51.
2001: Won the first of her three state long jump titles and nine career titles by winning state long jump at 19-4.5. Madison was also a third for both the 100 (12.10) and 200 (25.43), plus was third as a member of the 4×200 (1:42.28) along with Whitely, Below and Heather Davis.
2001: Was upset by Fremont Ross’ Fallon Bailey in her 100-meter title defense at the Amherst Regional (12.12 to 12.30) but managed to defend her regional long jump title at 18-9.5. Madison won the 200-meter regional title (24.66) and was second as a member of the 4×200 (1:42.29).
Earlier she defended her Amherst District titles for 100 (12.53) and long jump (18-8.5. She also won district titles for the 200 (25.50) plus another as a member of the 4×200 (1:43.42). Behind Tianna’s efforts the Elyria girls defeated Strongsville for the title, 120-100.
2000: Finished third at the Division I state meet for 100 meters with a time of 12.04. She teamed with Maria Whitely, Marita Below and Amber Smith for a fifth place as a member of the 4×100 (50.12). The same four finished sixth as members of the 1:44.04.
2000: Madison won regional titles at Amherst for both the 100 (12.32) and the 4×200 (1:42.55), teaming with Whitely, Below and Smith. She also teamed with the same three girls for a third in the 4×100 (49.82). Tianna was seventh in long jump (16-5.5) and didn’t advance in that event.
Tianna made her district debut in style by winning the long jump (18-2.5) and the 100 meters (12.56). She also teamed with Whitely, Below and Smith for wins in the 4×200 (1:44.27) and 4×100 (50.38). The Elyria girls ended a 13-year drought by defeating Medina for team honors, 98-92.
