Clearview High School (1985-89)
1989: Class AA (now Division II) state champion 400 meters (58.69)
1988: Class A (now Division III) state champion 100 meters (12.65). She also finished second both in the 400 meter (56.94) and 200 meters (25.70).
1987: Class A state champion 200 meters (26.07) and state runner-up for 100 meters (12.74).
1987: Class A state champion as a member of two Clearview relays. She teamed with Tracie Bradley, Vanessa Towers and Sandy Hitchens to win the 4×200 relay (1:45.13). She later teamed with Bradley, Rovella Williams and Tower to win the 4×100 relay (50.20). It’s the only time in Lorain County history for a girls track team to win two state relay titles at the same state championship meet
Her efforts led the Clippers to three top-10 state finishes: 3rd in 1987, fourth in 1988 and ninth in 1989.
