Lorain High School (1984-88)

1988: Division I 400-meter state champion with a Lorain County record time of 54.95. Her county record lasted for 12 years until 2000.
Saez is one of only two Lorain City School girls to win a state track championship. Admiral King’s Kermetta Folmar was the other Lorain City Schools girls winner back in 1976 (100 yards, 11.0).
1988: Midwest Meet of Champions 400-meter winner in 55.83.
1988: Amherst Division I Regional 400-meter champion in meet-record time of 55.59.
1988: Amherst Division I District 400-meter champion in meet-record time of 56.7 and also won the 200 meters in a school-record 25.1. Led the Lorain High girls to district team title over Elyria, 78-60.5.
1988: Erie Shore Conference Player of the Year, winning the 100-, 200- and 400-meter dashes.
1985: Third place at Division I state meet for 400 meters (57.38) as a freshman. She also won the Amherst District (58.79) and Amherst Regional (57.46) titles.
