Oberlin High School (1984-86)
1985: Jackson won Class AA 100- (12.39) and 200-meter (25.24) state track titles. She defeated Roger Bacon’s Theresa Lane (12.57) in the 100 and Wellsville’s Vickie Pullie (25.59) in the 200. She was also a member of the winning Class AA 400-meter relay along with Aravetta Alston, Crystal Tolbert and Dawn Ross (50.0) as Oberlin beat out Cleveland Orange (50.22)
Jackson led Oberlin girls to second place Class AA team finish at state in 1985. Oberlin tied Roger Bacon for second, each with 30 points and just one point behind Ravenna Southeast (31).
Jackson was also a sixth place finisher for the 200 meters (25.24) at the 1986 Class AA state meet
– Four-time Lakeland Conference champion: 100 meters (1985), 200 meters (1985) and 400-meter relay (1985-86)
– Two-time Olmsted Falls District champion: 100- and 200 meters (1985-86)

1984: Jackson was a Class AA 400-meter relay state champ along with Sonya Lawrence, Collette Maban and Lynn McLeod (49.89) as the Wolverines beat out Steubenville (50.13).
