2000: Hammer took third place at the Division I state meet in 18 minutes, 9 seconds to earn All-Ohio (top 25) at Scioto Downs. Her mark is the second fastest all-time for a state championship meet event by a Lorain County girl. Hammer earlier won the Elyria District in 18:45.6 and was second at the Tiffin Regional in 18:47. Following the state meet she competed for Team Ohio at the Mideast Meet of Champions where she finished eighth.
1999: Hammer placed 12th at the Division I state meet in 18:58 to earn All-Ohio. Hammer earlier fourth at the Elyria District in 20:03 and was second at the Tiffin Regional in 19:22.
1998: Hammer finished 29th place at the Division I state meet in 18:59. She placed fourth at the Edgewater District in 20:07 and was sixth at the Elyria Regional in 19:45.6.

Track and field
2001: Fifth place at Division I 3,200-meter run in a time of 10:59.51 to earn All-Ohio. Hammer earlier won the Amherst District in 11:19.6 and second at the Amherst Regional in 11:01.60.
2000: Won Amherst District in 11:17.06 as she helped Elyria girls to win its first district title since 1988. Was fifth at the Amherst Regional in a personal-record time of 10:57.29, missed a state ticket by 1.88 seconds.
1998: Hammer was third at the Amherst Division I District in 11:47.1. She was fifth at the Amherst Regional in 11:37.88, missed a state ticket by 2.78 seconds.
